St. Chad's [Anglican] church is on the town side of the Quarry.  It was built in 1792 and is one of very few English round churches with a tower.

The white structure with a dome, in the left hand picture, is a War Memorial unveiled in 1922 - it contains a bronze statue (I always thought it was black marble) of St. Michael..
